Wake Up!

This is a word that the Lord spoke to me this morning. I feel a sense of urgency and that it is a rallying cry for all of us.

BE ALERT & VIGILANT!

Your enemy is ready & willing at all times to attack. You need to be ready, too!

1 PETER 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

BE STEADFAST!

No longer accept little compromises because it is easier, more fun, or doesn’t rock the boat.

1 JOHN 2:15
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

JOHN 15:19
If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

BE ALIVE IN CHRIST!

Now that things aren’t quite so “intense” and we are experiencing the relaxation of some of pandemic restrictions, it is easy to be lulled into a sense of complacency. Resist this! It is vitally important to run our race and keep our eyes on Jesus!!

HEBREWS 12:1-2
Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Take heed, my friends. Now is the time to get out of your slumber. Shake off your sleep.

Spend time daily in prayer and in His Word. Ask the Lord to reveal to you the areas in your life that you have “fallen asleep”. Wake up and start moving!

ISAIAH 60:1
Arise, shine, for your light has come,
and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
